Hayley + Jordan

Hayley + Jordan's

wedding was a perfect example of a timeless wedding with a contemporary twist. The simplicity of their neutral color palette was complemented with organic shapes and textures that brought the arrangements to present-day.

Determining the theme of the florals began with Hayley’s bouquet. Aiming for a natural and organic style called for pops of cafe au lait dahlia, scabiosa and astilbe to create dimension and visual interest. Adding in romantic florals like quicksand rose and ranunculus maintained an elevated feel and complemented the lavish design of Dover Hall. A simplified version of her bouquet was adorned by all her bridesmaid’s which created a beautiful contrast against their black dresses.

The ceremony space was located at Dover Hall’s Reflecting Pool. Loose smilax framed the exterior of the pool and was accompanied by assorted height cylinder candles. This created a beautiful pathway that led directly to the pergola where crawling greenery and hanging florals created a perfect backdrop for the couple to say “I do”. The sun was in our favor this day, perfectly reflecting the pool and creating such a magical feel to this ceremony space!

The guest’s eyes were immediately drawn upwards once entering the reception space, which was transformed with seamless strands of greenery that perfectly complemented the gorgeous chandeliers. Seated at the head table, the wedding party was greeted with loose greenery and taper candles accenting the length of the table. A mix of gold and glass compotes was used throughout the rest of the guest tables which incorporated the same organic and romantic florals we adored in Hayley’s bouquet. This wedding was an absolute dream that will be a forever timeless design!
